PROJECT ILLUMINATION

                                          

MISSION

Our mission is to broaden this communities awareness of the impact of sexual abuse against people with developmental disabilities and to provide resources to assist those victims of sexual abuse.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of local agencies which are committed to ending the victimization of people with developmental disabilities.  Currently, North Range Behavioral Health, Sexual Assault Survivors inc. and The Arc of Weld County make up the coalition of agencies.

To schedule a presentation of Project Illumination please contact Larry at the Arc of Weld County at 970-353-5219. Presentations consist of a power point and a 2-4 act play with sexual abuse as the focus. The cast is made up mostly of self-advocates.

TRUTH TROUPE

 

The Truth Troupe is comprised of self-advocates as well as community volunteers that make up the cast and crew.  The troupe is dedicated towards educating the community about the sexual abuse of people with developmental disabilities.
